New Starters for 2023
Before we say good-bye to 2022, say hello to our newest team members Reece Bemrose and James Brooks.
It was a great year for Aspect, and we are always happy to have new staff members helping to maintain and exceed our high level of customer service excellence.
Aspect are Carbon Heros!
December has started well for Aspect Fire and we were proud to receive the “Carbon Hero” certificate from Mpostcode business hub. The award was given in recognition of our achievements over the past few years to reduce our carbon footprint.
The company’s objectives have all been achieved and below are our original targets
Measurable Objectives:
- Reduce Chemical Agent installations by 20% YOY
We have over the past five years continued to promote INERT gas installations which hold a low GWP (global warming potential). We no install 90% Inert compared to just 20% a few years ago.
- Reduce Fuel consumption & CO2 Emissions by 1% against works turnover
Whilst we have a fleet of vehicles, we have made many changes to our travel. We now use a smart schedule programme which reduces travel time and we also provide accommodation to engineers to shorten journey times. We have this year also traded all our company cars in for Hybrid vehicles.
- Reduce waste – eliminate paper reports from Engineer
Over the last 3 years we have eliminated paper waste at our offices by introducing our cloud based engineer scheduling system. Our engineers use tablets on site instead of producing paper. It has made the team more efficient and there is no paper waste.
- Using suppliers with environmental accreditation ISO14001
Since Aspect Fire achieved ISO 14001:2015 we have put in place a process to ensure we source suppliers that work to the same accreditation, this allows us to confidently use sustainable products and suppliers.
BAFE Certification – a big win for Aspect
Aspect Fire, have received our BAFE SP203-1 and SP203-3 Certification! It has been a year in the making but we are pleased that after a number of successful audits through the NSI we have been awarded our certification.
The SP203-1 and SP203-3 schemes are an effective means of providing the fullest possible assurances, offering a level of quality, reliability and safety.
We are certified for all aspects of Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of both Gaseous Fire Extinguishing Systems and Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
Installing an appropriate fire detection and alarm system in your business property and keeping in regularly maintained is a requirement within national fire safety legislation. Do you need some directions?
Then we have just what you need…… Directional Valve systems. Have you got multiple areas of the same or differing sizes that you want to protect. Then why not install a directional valve system.
This consists of central bank of cylinders and directional valves. Each area would have its own detection and control system that when activated would discharge the correct number of cylinders into the correct area.
