New ISO Revisions – Challenge Accepted!

New 2015 Quality & Environmental Standards Revision – Challenge Accepted!

Aspect Fire Solutions have always been pleased to hold both the ISO:9001 Quality Accreditation and 14001 Environmental and year on year we have been pleased to retain these standards.

When it was announced that the standards were being revised we knew there would be a lot of work ahead, but we are confident to go ahead with the updates and we hope we can have everything in place before our external audit at the end of the year.

As you may be aware we also have OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety.

We are looking forward to the challenge ahead and the continued development of our company.

Installing a new INERTSAFE300

We are currently installing an INERTSAFE300 – IG541 System in the Server Room at Fat Face’s, New Distribution Centre, Havant.

Fat Face

Is a lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer, based in the UK. It was founded in 1988 by Tim Slade and Jules Leaver as a business selling T-shirts at ski resorts. The company opened its first retail shop in 1993; as of 2014 there were 209 Fat Face stores in the UK and Ireland.

The Inertsafe300 System is perfect for this type of risk, with zero decomposition products, no global warming and no ozone depletion !!

The system is also perfectly safe for personnel working in the area.

Works at Piece Hall

We are currently installing an INERTSAFE300 – IG541 Fire Suppression in the Piece Hall Library.

The Inertsafe300 – Ig541 Fire Suppression system consists of a double knock fire detection system, Inertsafe300 – IG541 Cylinder banks and distribution pipe work throughout the protected area.

The system has been designed to be installed in a manner sympathetic and ascetically pleasing while still maintaining the hydraulic performance criteria required of the system.

We have an experienced project management team ensuring the delivery of the Inertsafe300 – ig541 system on this prestigious project.

So What is the Piece Hall ???

ONE OF THE UK’S MOST SIGNIFICANT HERITAGE PROJECTS, CONSERVING AND TRANSFORMING A GRADE I LISTED STRUCTURE

Since 1779, The Piece Hall has stood proudly at the heart of Halifax. Originally built to support the trading of ‘pieces’ of cloth, it has been a meeting point of Halifax’s commercial, civic and cultural life for almost 250 years. In an ambitious and exciting new chapter, it is to be reimagined as a new cultural and commercial centre.

The Piece Hall is currently undergoing a £19 million conservation and transformation programme. The work is being carried out by Graham Construction with funding from Calderdale Council and a significant investment of £7 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund, with additional support from Garfield Weston Foundation and The Wolfson Foundation. On reopening, The Piece Hall will be operated by an independent body, the newly formed charity The Piece Hall Trust.
